About Armour Bay Reserve

Armour Bay Reserve is a large coastal park in the heart of the Parau community. This space has been popular with Auckland residents for generations as an escape from the city on the Manukau harbour.

With two courts that include tennis, basketball and netball facilities, a dog off-leash area, and several picnic spots, there is something for the whole family. Toilets and changing rooms are found on the beach. Be sure to check the Safeswim website before swimming.

Just 2 minutes’ walk north via a short bush trail you will find Takaranga Reserve, which contains a children’s playspace and seating.
