Grassed vehicle-based campground situated on gently sloping ground with rows of tall trees forming a hedge. The campground sits on the eastern side of the park a short distance from the beach.
Take the Perimeter Walk for a relaxing 2.5km stroll through native forest, estuaries, mangroves and open paddocks.
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.
Head through the main automatic gate into Omana Regional Park and follow the tar seal road until you reach turn around with the playground on the left. Continue straight ahead along the gravel park service road until you reach a farm gate with a combination lock. Enter the access code and carry on straight until you reach the campground gate near the end of the service road.
You will need a combination code to open the locked access gate - we will send you the combination code with your booking confirmation.

Bookings can only be made six months in advance for campgrounds. Availability refreshes at midnight daily.
From 17 December to 31 January: group bookings are limited to a maximum of 10 people.
From 1 February to 16 December: group bookings are limited to a maximum of 50 people.

Large molok bins are provided for campers - please separate your recycling and waste.
You may stay in tents or certified self-contained (CSC) vehicles at this site.
CSCs must have a current NZS5465 Certified Self-Containment Certificate from Ministry for the Environment.
Motorhomes, campervans, caravans, 5 wheelers and buses must not be longer than 10m.
