- Use and support smart technologies to decrease peak energy usage and investigate incentives to change behaviours.
- Optimise building management systems and use other initiatives on Auckland Council’s and council-controlled organisations' (CCO) facilities to reduce energy consumption.
- Address energy poverty by providing targeted support for high energy household users in low socio-economic circumstances.
- Deliver community energy efficiency and generation schemes thought energy sector partnerships.
