The Community and coast priority of this plan outlines the actions we will collectively undertake to help Aucklanders reduce their carbon footprint The amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of a particular individual, organisation, or community. and prepare for the changes we face into the future.
Auckland Council, communities, schools and workplaces are already starting to take climate action. From local community-led initiatives, local environment and recycling centres, to self-help home audit tools and community grants, there is momentum we can build upon.
