About the notice of requirement
Notice of requirement lodged by Auckland Transport for a designation for an upgrade to Wainui Road to an urban arterial corridor with active mode facilities, between Lysnar Road in Wainui, and the State Highway 1 northbound Wainui Road offramp (NoR 10).
The North Projects are thirteen individual transport projects in Auckland's North, located between Albany and Ōrewa, in the growth areas of Dairy Flat, Redvale, Stillwater, Silverdale and Wainui East. Te Tupu Ngātahi Supporting Growth Alliance has lodged a package of thirteen notices of requirement with Auckland Council for route protection of the Projects, which will allow for future construction at a later date. These Projects include a new Rapid Transit Corridor, new rapid transit stations, improvements to State Highway 1, new connections, and upgrades to key existing routes.
