About the path

A loop path around Bruce Pulman Park in Takanini, great for a casual stroll and watching the action on the sports fields.

Pulman Park is an integrated sports, recreational and leisure community facility, set within 63.5 hectares of spacious park grounds.

Follow the gravel path and check out the world-class sports facilities the park has to offer.

You will pass the Papakura Netball Centre, indoor Gymsport and Recreation Centre, Ardmore Marist Rugby Club, several sports fields and stormwater ponds.

The park is home to New Zealand's first three on three outdoor basketball court, which is available to try out when it's not being used for a tournament or event. Teams of three play on a half-sized basketball court and shoot into the same hoop.

If you're keen to try out the sports fields, cricket wickets and playing courts in the park, you can book these through the Bruce Pulman Park website.

Keep an eye out for wandering pūkeko as you walk.

Dog walking is not permitted at the park.
