Our tiny home provides a unique year-round visitor accommodation for those who don't have access to a self-contained certified (SCC) vehicle. It features a modern kitchen, new furniture and flat screen TV.
Located in the campground next to the Parakai Springs Hot Pools, this tiny home is the perfect escape if you want to chill out in your own cabin and private space. It is set in a green oasis within walking distance to a thermal pool offering.
You can also use the tiny home as a base for your west coast adventures:
- mountain biking
- horse riding
- tree climbing
- 4 x 4 or off-road motorcycling
- beach rambles
- fishing on the Kaipara.
Alcohol is prohibited at all times.
Alerts
Price increase for regional parks accommodation and bookable picnic sites
Prices will increase from 1 July 2022 for baches, lodges, tiny homes and bookable picnic sites. It does not include campgrounds and self-contained certified (SCC) car parks.
The increase will take effect for all stays booked or amended from 1 July. If your booking is across dates in June and July 2022, the cost will include old and new prices.

Directions and access
Turn into the main driveway entrance to the Parakai Springs Hot Pools. Follow the driveway past the pool complex entrance and carpark. Turn right to get to the bach and locked gate. We will give you a combination code for the gate with your booking confirmation.
You need to phone us on 09 301 0101 five days before your booking starts so we can give you the access code to retrieve the tiny home key.

- Bedroom two (lower level): one set of single bunk beds (i.e. sleeps 2 people).
You need to supply bed linen, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, tea towels, food, mosquito repellent and personal items.

Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.
Cleaning
You must keep the tiny home and surrounding site clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave. Charges will apply if more cleaning is needed.To protect against COVID-19 clean all utensils, crockery and surfaces on your arrival and departure.
Rubbish
Rubbish bin inside the home. Place your rubbish and recycling in bin located outside the house before departure.
Overnight vehicles and tents
One parking space within tiny home site.
You may not stay in tents or camp in vehicles around the cottage.
Fires
Fires prohibited at all times. Use the shared barbecue facilities in the campground.
