Schischka House at Wenderholm Regional Park
Schischka House is a modernised large farm homestead on the edge of the Puhoi Estuary.
It has a good size kitchen and dining area, large living room, five bedrooms and large deck with picnic tables overlooking the estuary.
The bach has wheelchair access via a wooden ramp but the bathroom isn't completely accessible.

Directions and access
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.
Go through the main park automatic entrance gate and travel about 100m, turn left at the Schischka House and campground automatic gate and follow the signs to Schischka House.
A combination code will be provided with your booking.

Booking information
Bookings can only be made six months in advance for baches. Availability refreshes at midnight daily.

Bedrooms
- Bedroom one and two: one queen bed in each
- Bedrooms three, four and five: two single beds in each.
You need to supply bed linen, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, tea towels, food, mosquito repellent and personal items.
Amenities
Drinkable (potable) town water supply.
Standard domestic power supply.
Fridge/freezer, stove, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery provided.
Two are bathrooms. There is an accessible bathroom with tiled wet room - shared shower, basin and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower and hand basin. There is also a separate second toilet and hand basin.
Heaters provided. Heat pump with ventilation into each room. The control panel is in the passage on the wall above the ventilation panels.
Rules
Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.
You must keep the house and surrounding site clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave.
To protect against COVID-19 please clean all utensils, crockery and surfaces on your arrival and departure.There are wheelie bins for general rubbish outside the house. Separate recyclable items and food waste - these can be placed in the large recycling bin and worm bin just outside the entrance to the main camping area.
You may not stay in tents or camp in vehicles around the house.
Fires prohibited at all times.
