About the plan change
This private plan change seeks to re-zone 3A and 119A Carrington Road from Business – Mixed Use zone to Special Purpose – Healthcare Facility and Hospital zone, and amend provisions and plans in the Wairaka Precinct.
The proposed amendments to Wairaka Precinct provisions and plans include:
- changes to the precinct description
- changes to precinct objectives and policies to allow for intensification of the Mason Clinic
- extending sub-precinct A of the Wairaka Precinct to include 3A and 119A Carrington Road
- activity table, amended notification requirements, and additional objectives and policies for sub-precinct A
- new standards, matters of control/discretion and assessment criteria to achieve the outcomes sought by the objectives and policies
- deletion of “key open space (private)” as shown on 119A Carrington Road and “shared path” as shown on 3A Carrington Road from I334.10.1 Wairaka: Precinct Plan 1.
