Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings:

Members of the public can speak at local board business meetings through:
Anyone can speak for up to three minutes during a public forum at a business meeting as long as the topic is related to an item on the meeting agenda for that meeting.
You do not need to give notice to speak during a public forum, but you must tell the democracy advisor that you intend to speak before the meeting starts.
You can also speak at a business meeting for up to 10 minutes through a deputation. This is a formal presentation and needs approval from the chairperson.

Members of the public can watch some of the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board workshops in person or online with Microsoft Teams. Some sessions may be closed to the public if they involve sensitive information.
