You can apply to book our sports fields on a casual or seasonal basis.
Bookings are not confirmed until you receive email confirmation from us.
Bookings for sports fields are grouped into two seasons:
- summer - from October to March
- winter - from April to September.
We will consider bookings for sports played outside of these dates on a case-by-case basis.
Seasonal bookings
Seasonal bookings are regular bookings (usually weekly) made during a season.
Seasonal bookings are available for:
- regional sports organisations and affiliated clubs
- teams
- schools
- community groups
- competitions
- training.

Casual bookings
Casual use of our sports fields provides valuable opportunities for residents and visitors to take part in a range of social, recreational, community and cultural activities.
You can apply to use our sports fields on a casual basis for one-off or irregular sporting activities for a specific date and time, or for multiple dates or times.
You cannot:
- make casual bookings for a whole season
- use the fields until we confirm your booking.
After you apply
Before we confirm a casual booking, we check that:
- the field is available
- there are no existing bookings or scheduled events
- there are no planned renovations, maintenance works or operational activities that may affect use of the field.
