A healthy and connected natural environment will restore, maintain, and protect mana whenua Hapū and iwi with ancestral relationships to certain areas in Tāmaki Makaurau where they exercise customary authority.whakapapa Genealogy that links Māori to their ancestors. connections to kaitiaki Trustee, custodian, guardian., whenua Land, country, earth or ground., and atua Primal ancestors..
Enabling active kaitiakitanga of the natural environment will achieve our goals of climate mitigation and adaptation.
