Pay by Eftpos, MasterCard, Visa or American Express (0.67 per cent payment fee for credit cards) at one of our libraries with council services.
You can also pay by cash or Eftpos at any PostShop. You must bring your rates bill with you.
Telephone banking
Contact your bank to set up telephone banking. If you pay by telephone banking on the due date, we will treat the payment as received on time.
Discount, penalties and help
Discount for full payment
Pay the full year before the first instalment (with no overdue balance) to receive a 1.31 per cent discount for 2025/2026.
Penalties
If you do not pay your rates instalment in full by the due date, we charge a 10 per cent penalty on any amount owing.
