You will receive a discount for your rates if you pay for the year in full by the date your first instalment is due. To get the discount, make sure you are up to date with any overdue rates fees and charges. The discount for the 2025/2026 rating year is 1.31 per cent.

To add a property to your myAUCKLAND account, you will need the four-digit PIN and rates assessment number from your most recent rates bill. You will find this under the 'Your details section' of your bill.
