Kumeū-Huapai Indoor Court Facility Plan

Open for feedback

About the Kumeū-Huapai Indoor Court Facility Plan

Due to strong population growth, there is a significant shortage of indoor court space across the Auckland region. This includes a local gap in the Kumeū-Huapai area for activities such as basketball.

We have developed an indoor court facility plan to help guide decisions and investment in future indoor sports courts.

Proposed new facility for Kumeū- Huapai

As part of this plan, a new indoor facility is proposed to be built to serve Kumeū- Huapai and surrounding rural areas.

We have been working with local clubs and sports codes to identify potential activities to include in the proposed new facility at Huapai Domain.

What we'd like your feedback on

We would like to hear what types of leisure activities you and your family would like to do in the new facility so we can make sure the new design is fit for purpose.
