About the Silverdale War Memorial Park playground renewal

The playground at Silverdale War Memorial Park is at the end of its life and needs to be renewed.

What we want your feedback on

We want to know what you would like to see as part of the new playground.

You can help by choosing your preferred play elements, such as:

  • slides
  • swings
  • spinning items
  • climbing items
  • rocking items
  • creative play (elements that encourage children to use their imagination and create activities)
  • social play (elements that encourage children or adults to play together)
  • nature play (using natural rock and timber elements)

The renewal will also include other minor park assets, such as:

  • bollards
  • paths
  • outdoor seating
  • the public toilet.

When you can have your say

You can have your say from 23 June to 28 July 2021.

What happens next

We will develop the concept designs for the new playground from July 2021 to January 2022.

We aim to begin construction in the 2023 financial year.
