Te Rau Puriri Concept Plan

About the Te Rau Puriri Concept Plan

We would like you to have your say on the draft concept plan for Te Rau Puriri Regional Park.

We purchased the three blocks of land that make up the regional park between 2005 and 2014.

Now it's time to create a concept plan to determine future development of the park.

The plan proposes what recreation facilities should be developed, and what our conservation focus should be.

What we want your feedback on

We would like to hear the local community's and wider Auckland park users' thoughts on the plan.

We want to know if we're on the right track:

  • Have we included appropriate recreation activities?
  • Does the plan have the right focus on ecological restoration and protection, as well as archaeology and geology?

When you can have your say

You can have your say from 29 April to 12 June 2020.

What happens next

After the consultation closes, we will analyse your feedback and make changes to the draft plan.

The revised plan will go back out for consultation in July/August 2020.

We aim to get the final plan signed off in September 2020.
