Notice of Requirement lodged by New Zealand Transport Agency to alter Designation 6740 State Highway 16 – North end of Fred Taylor Drive to Ngongetepara Stream, Brighams Creek.
This notice of requirement seeks to provide safety, capacity, walking and cycling improvements to State Highway 16 (SH16) between the Brigham Creek Roundabout and Kumeū. These proposed improvements form Stage 2 of the wider SH16 Brigham Creek to Waimauku Project. Works include roadside barriers, flexible wire rope median barrier, a flush median, wider shoulders, upgrade of the Coatesville Riverhead Highway intersection with SH16 to a two-lane roundabout and a shared walking and cycling path.
