Don't miss this short loop walk to the beautiful lookout point at Ōmana Regional Park.
It is the perfect activity to get the whole whānau active after enjoying a barbecue and games in the park.
Start at the park entrance off Ōmana Beach Road. Follow the Perimeter Track through a short bush section until you see signs to the lookout on your left.
At the lookout, check out the breath-taking views over the regional park to the Hauraki Gulf. You can see Waiheke, Rangitoto and Motuihe islands.
From the lookout, follow the Lookout Track. Then turn right and walk along the road to return to the main car park.
After your walk, head to the shelly Ōmana Beach for a dip in the water (one hour either side of high tide) or explore the fascinating rock pools below the cliffs.
