What the Transport and Infrastructure Committee does

This committee handles the oversight, monitoring and direction of Auckland Transport, as well as major transport and infrastructure projects and plans.

Its annual work programme will also include:

• regional transport projects and issues
• infrastructure funding
• stormwater infrastructure
• City Rail Link and light rail
• congestion charging
• transport emissions
• city centre and waterfront development
• property acquisition and disposal.
