What the Transport, Resilience and Infrastructure Committee does

This committee oversees major transport, infrastructure and physical resilience matters that affect the region. It also has an oversight role for Auckland Transport .

Its yearly work programme includes:

• regional transport projects and issues
• City Rail Link and light rail
• time-of-use charging for road users, which reduces traffic during peak times
• transport emissions
• stormwater infrastructure
• property purchases and disposal.
