Transport and Infrastructure Delivery Committee

What the Transport and Infrastructure Delivery Committee does 

The Transport and Infrastructure Delivery Committee is responsible for planning, delivering and monitoring all transport-related work in Auckland. 

The committee also monitors the construction and delivery of:

• the City Rail Link
• stormwater management 
• urban development projects.

According to the Local Government (Auckland Council) (Transport Governance) Amendment Bill, Auckland Council will become:

• the Road Controlling Authority 
• responsible for all other transport functions.
