​COVID-19 animal shelter and animal management information

Animal shelters are open with strict entry conditions and required health and safety measures in place.

Please call the shelter before attending in person.


If your dog is missing please visit the Auckland Council impounded animals Facebook page.

Animal Management will respond to calls such as dog attacks or roaming dogs and will undertake proactive work.

To report a roaming dog or incident, call our contact centre on 09 301 0101.
