On this walk, you will follow in the footsteps of early Birkenhead residents.
Enjoy the varied styles of villas, gardens and businesses as you wander up the hill.
On the way back you can see the Chelsea Sugar Refinery and the harbour bridge in the distance.
Walk through native bush in
Hinemoa Park to get back to the wharf.
Note: You will need a moderate fitness level to complete this walk as there are some steep areas.
