The objectives of the procurement policy and sustainable framework
The Procurement Policy provides clear information to staff, suppliers, contractors and the community on what is important to us, including achieving best value for goods, services or works.
The procurement policy aligns with the driving principles of The Auckland Plan.
We work closely together with our council-controlled organisations ensure their procurement strategies are consistent with our own.
The Sustainable Procurement Framework emphasises our commitment to sustainable procurement.
