Local elections

Local elections for the Auckland region are held every three years by postal vote. These elections determine who will become the mayor, councillors, and local board members and make decisions on behalf of all Aucklanders.

We have a new local board member as a result of our Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board (Ōtara subdivision) by-election.

Lorenzo Kaisara has been successfully elected with 1512 votes.
