Candidate statement
Fakalofa Lahi Atu and pacific greetings; my name is Albert Jackson; you may know me as a local businessman, while others as your neighbour.
I was only 80 votes away from being elected in the last election. This year, as promised, I’ve put my name forward again and am willing to work harder to represent you on the Community Board.
I am a devout God-fearing man, father, son and a proud local of Ōtara. Continuing my family’s legacy as long-standing servants within our beloved community would be my honor.
It is essential to provide the people of Ōtara a voice of diversity and inclusion so that we can all have an opportunity to be heard, seen and valued, regardless of our background, belief or ethnicity.
