Current alcohol bans
Alcohol has been banned from some public places in Auckland to encourage a safe and welcoming environment.
In some places drinking or carrying alcohol is banned, in other streets and parks, carrying alcohol is permitted but drinking alcohol is banned.
The bans are in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week in some places; in others they are only at night time or during daylight savings.
