Find out where you can put portable signs in the central business district or city centre zone.
Freestanding signs are fixed on or into the ground and stand on their own. They must be located on private land.
Veranda signs can advertise only products, services, goods or events taking place on the site they are located on. You cannot put signs on top of a veranda.
Wall mounted signs are attached to, painted onto, or projecting beyond the face of a wall, fence or building.
For window sign allowances, check the unitary plan Built Environment to see if the site has a key retail frontage overlay.
