About the plan change
The plan change aims to recognise the historic heritage values of six historic heritage places (five individual heritage places and one historic heritage area) by adding them to Schedule 14 of the Auckland Unitary Plan (Operative in Part) and planning maps
This means that these places will be subject to the provisions of the Historic Heritage Overlay.

Further submissions close on 8 November 2019.
In accordance with section 86B (3) of the Resource Management Act, some of the proposed plan change rules have immediate legal effect.
