Kauri dieback (expanded)
This project will introduce 100km of new, high quality tracks and 100 hygiene stations to reduce the risk of people spreading kauri dieback disease.
Pest Free Auckland support (new)
This project will see investment in a community relationship management system and regional telemetry network.
It will provide a digital platform with information about support, resources, and initiatives, as well as the ability to collect community data to a regional level.
Rural possum control (expanded)
This project aims to reduce possums to low levels across rural Auckland, so that native species and primary production can flourish.
Over the next 12 months, rural possum control will be carried out in over 30,000ha of the Hunua Ranges, the 'Hunua Halo' buffer, and the Tapora, South Head, and Awhitu Peninsulas.
