Stop receiving your property rates bills and valuation notices by email

If you have agreed to get both your rates bills and property valuations by email, you cannot stop just one of these services.

​How to stop getting your property rates bills and valuation notices by email

 Online

  1. Log in to myAUCKLAND.
  2. Go to the 'Actions' menu under the 'My property rates' heading.
  3. Click the 'Edit your contact details and how you receive rates bills' option.
  4. Click the 'Get your rates by post' button.

This menu will only display if you have already added a property to your account.

Log in to myAUCKLAND

 By email

Send an email to enquiry@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz and include:

  • your name
  • property address
  • your contact number
  • the email address your rates bills are being sent to.

 By phone

​Contact us on Call Auckland Council helpline on09 301 0101 and ask to stop getting your property rates bills and valuation notices by email.

​What happens next

It will take up to five working days to stop getting your property rates bills and valuation notices by email. Depending on when you cancel receiving these rates bills, you may still receive the next bill by email. 

We will send your future property rates bills and valuation notices by post.
