CCO Accountability Policy

This policy sets out the council's expectations for its substantive CCOs in accordance with section 90 of the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009 and the approach used for accountability of CCOs.

Statement of Expectations

The Statement of Expectations was issued in July 2021 in accordance with section 64B of the Local Government Act 2002.

It explains how CCOs should conduct their business and manage their relationships with council and other interested groups.

The Statement of Expectations is to be read in conjunction with the Auckland Council CCO Accountability Policy.

The documents cover different elements of accountability.
