Co-management arrangements

We have co-management arrangements in place to help restore and protect six historic and culturally significant sites. Our co-management entities make decisions about the management of the land and their role is set out in formal agreements. They are different from our co-governance entities, whose decision-making powers are set out in law.

Information about the Te Motu a Hiaroa / Puketutu Island co-management arrangement will be available soon.
