Our three-year performance plan
Tā mātou mahere whakahaere mahi ā-toru-tau
Our performance plan sets out our goals, and addresses the expectations of Aucklanders in four main areas:
- engaging and enabling communities
- customer-friendly services
- making our size work
- building a high performance culture.
It includes a number of measures that we will report on publicly each quarter, including trust in council, customer service, elected member satisfaction, health and safety and financial management.
Auckland Council 2016 pre-election report
This report touches on some key milestones since the council’s creation in 2010, including a snapshot of the Auckland Council Group’s performance, key financial measures from the past three years and projections for the next three.
It also includes a discussion of what major decisions the new council might have to make in the areas of:
- our future port needs
- the mix and retention of council services
- ways to fund investments
- ways to make the most of our current assets.
Citizen Insights Monitor (CIM)
The CIM measures trust and confidence in Auckland Council. The data is gathered throghout the year via an online survey of around 3000 Aucklanders aged 15 and over, and is representative of all regions, ethnicities, age groups and genders.
Along with other citizen, customer and business research, this monitor shows us what matters to Aucklanders. Understanding what matters to Aucklanders informs the priorities in our wider performance plan and the trust-building initiatives in all our business plans. These insights will continue to inform operational decision-making and prioritisation.
