​How to register as a Certificate of Acceptance author

Email producerstatement@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with your completed application forms and supporting documents.

​Registration fees

Registration for a producer statement author - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$750
Renewal of registration (every three years) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$500
Register as a high-risk producer statement author - Base fee (non-refundable, additional charges may apply)$750
Changes to an existing producer statement author outside the renewal process (includes changes to company names) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$250
Additions to existing producer statement author and Independent Qualified Person (excludes high risk) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$250

We issue producer statement author invoices once you submit your application.

All invoices must be paid before we will approve your application.

What happens next

It takes 30 working days to evaluate the application.

We will let you know the decision by email.

Renew your registration

Once approved, you have to:

  • renew your registration every three years
  • provide a three-year professional development log with your renewal application
  • provide your current insurance details annually to keep your authorship active.
