Register as an Independent Qualified Person (IQP)
What you need to register as an Independent Qualified Person (IQP)
Before you register, make sure you have:
- qualifications for each specified system
- supporting documents for each specified system
- work history or CV and three references
- IQP assessment information
- copies of professional memberships and licenses
- a recent photo of yourself for a new IQP membership card
- a current insurance certificate that has not expired.

Registration renewal for Independent Qualified Person (3 yearly) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges) | $250 |
Fixed fees are non-refundable and no additional charges will apply.
What happens next
We present new applications to the registration team at fortnightly meetings.
We will approve your application if it meets the criteria and includes the required supporting documentation.
Once you have paid the registration fee, we will add you to the IQP register and send you a Registered Independent Qualified Person Practising Certificate.
