There are no restrictions for keeping pigeons or other bird aviaries on private property.

If you are keeping pigeons you must ensure they are not a nuisance to anyone else or causing health and safety issues to the public.

Our tip

Where to place your aviary

If you have an aviary on your property, place it at least 10m away from neighbouring houses.
