We provide personalised, impartial advice on home performance and energy efficiency. We will work with you to find the right options for your home and budget.

What we don't offer

• Building or insulation inspections for compliance purposes.
• Advice relating to major repairs, or to structural, electrical, drainage or plumbing work.
• Recommendations for particular suppliers or products. 
• Inspection of watertightness issues.

Advice for new builds 

Our sustainable home guide offers design tips on building a comfortable home that costs less to run and is less harmful to the environment.

We provide eco-design advice for new build projects. You can ask us about:

• thermal performance
• energy efficiency
• carbon footprints.

Request advice on the performance of your home

Our certified home performance and eco-design advisors will provide up to an hour of free expert advice on how you can make your existing house or new build warmer, drier and more energy-efficient.

They can provide this advice by:

• visiting you at your house if necessary

• virtual consultations via a video call (preferred).

We prefer virtual consultations because they reduce health risks, travel time, and carbon emissions.

We offer a limited number of in-home consultations if you do not have the technology for a video-call or if a physical inspection is required.
