Auckland Transport has applied for resource consent to construct either an in-ground palisade wall or a series of jet grout columns landward of the existing ‘seawall’ on the northern side of Quay Street for a length of approximately 105m. The palisade wall or jet grout columns are proposed for seismic strengthening purposes to improve resilience in the event of an earthquake, in particular by protecting Quay Street and the services within it. This proposal represents the Princes Wharf section of the Quay Street seawall upgrade project. The remaining sections of the Quay Street seawall project are the subject of separate resource consent applications.Auckland TransportBUN60320273DIS60329705, WAT60320275, LUC6032027620/11/2018 11:00:00 a.m.19/12/2018 4:00:00 a.m.Attention: Manini HallikeriAuckland TransportPrivate Bag 92250Victoria Street West Auckland1142manini.hallikeri@at.govt.nz
