Large sports park bordered by Shoesmith, Mahurangi and Hill streets, and Browns Road. There is also a large playground with plenty of balancing and climbing equipment, including a warping wall and accessible carousel.
Access the car park from Shoesmith Street. Pedestrians can also access the reserve from Hill and Mahurangi streets.
A playground, picnic table and seating are inside the reserve. It is also home to the Warkworth Tennis and Squash Club.
Accessible features at this reserve
A wide concrete path through the reserve connects all the car park, sports fields and playground. The accessible playground has inclusive play items, wet pour safety surfacing and a wheelchair accessible picnic table.
There are two mobility parking spaces in the main car park and there is further parking available on Hill Street with a flat concrete path leading to the reserve and playground. The nearest bus stop is on Walton Avenue and an eight minute walk from the reserve.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
