Waiheke Pathways Plan

Coming soon

About the Waiheke Pathways Plan

The number of pedestrians and cyclists on Waiheke is steadily growing, but many of the roads and pathways are not designed to accommodate them.

The Waiheke Pathways Plan is a 10-year plan to improve the island's footpaths, roads and trails so that it’s safe and easy for people to walk, bike or ride to where they want to go.

The proposed improvements will give an increased number of people - young and old - the choice to walk and cycle whenever and wherever they want.

We want your feedback on the proposals contained within the Waiheke Pathways Plan document, particularly;

  • how you feel about the plan as a whole
  • the proposed solution for each type of road
  • areas where you believe we have got it wrong
  • areas you think we may have missed.

When you can have your say

You will be able to have your say from Monday 26 November 2018 until 4pm Friday 14 December 2018.
