Request a rating valuation review

If the extreme weather events in the first half of 2023 have caused significant and long-lasting physical damage to your property, you can request a rating valuation review by emailing:

ratesrelief@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

Get help from Work and Income

Work and Income can help with emergency costs.

These include:

  • medical costs
  • bedding
  • food
  • power bills
  • repairing or replacing appliances
  • costs if you’ve had to leave your home
  • loss of income if you can't work.

See if you can get help with urgent or unexpected costs.

Apply for a grant

Many of the grants that were available have closed.

Apply for a rates postponement

You can request a rates postponement.

Help for people with disabilities

Funding

Funding is available for Aucklanders with disabilities.
