This consultation closed on 14 October 2018. Thank you for having your say.
We received 38 online submissions which we analysed and closely considered.
The majority of respondents supported the creation of a greenways network for the Rodney Local Board.
Many expressed safety concerns over the busy roads in the area - especially for horse riders, dog walkers and pedestrians.
Several pointed out that the network will be important for future generations as the city continues to expand and more subdivisions appear.
As a result of the high degree of interest from horse riders and pony clubs, we have reviewed and adapted the plan to extend the bridleways for horse riders.
You can read a summary of the feedback on the consultation documents page.
What happens next
We will submit the revised plans to Rodney Local Board for adoption in May/June 2019.
