Certified self-contained vehicles (CSCs) can park in the overnight parking area in the main car park at Ātiu Creek Regional Park. The length of time they can park for depends on the time of year.

There is also a campground with vehicle access on the northern side of the park that is open during the summer. It has easy access to walking, horse-riding and mountain-biking tracks.
Horse riders can keep their horses in the horse-holding paddock next to the campground while they camp.
For the safety of campers, horses are not allowed in the campground.

There are also many walking options depending on how much time you have. It is a short walk to the beach or a longer walk along the coastal track.

The Sullivan’s Bay CSC parking area in Mahurangi Regional Park is easy to access. It is very popular, so book early.
It is a great location for swimming, picnics, water sports, walking and exploring.

It is an easy walk to walking tracks and the beach, and there is good access to the Pūhoi River for water activities.
