We will carry out inspections of food premises, with the appropriate COVID-19 risk management practices in place. Remote checks will be carried out in parallel with site visits.
You can apply online or in some service centres for food business registrations, national programmes, and food control plans.
We will extend existing and new food-only outdoor licences at no cost until we reach the Green Level or 30 April 2022.
Hospitality venues, such as cafes, bars, restaurants and nightclubs, can open at COVID Protection Framework (CPF) Orange setting with no restrictions. There are no limits on the number of people who can be at the venue. Public-facing workers (paid and non-paid) at food and drink businesses and services must wear a face mask.
